I hate homework. I'm not even kidding. Homework sucks, and it's always due tomorrow! Seriously, who creates these assignments? Homework is stupid. It's so noisy because there are too many people in the house all the time! And did I mention that I can't bring my phone to do homework? That's really what did me in today, but it could've happened like two minutes ago or tomorrow or next week for someone else (actually that might be kind of cool). I'd be sitting there, and my mom was telling me to do my homework, and I'd be like, "Oh no! Mom! I forgot my phone!" (If only she knew I was carrying it around with me.) But today it really happened. And I was like "Oh no!" So I ran upstairs to grab my phone, and sure enough, there were tons of new messages on it:

Oh wait—I forgot that this is a diary and not a full-length novel. So what you got here is actually pretty cool: It's another diary entry from yours truly Greg Heffley. If you're reading this, then that must mean the last one wasn't boring enough for you. How about this time I write about life on the road with mom and dad? I hope not! Last night, my family and I went on a trip to Dayton, Ohio. It was all part of mom's work. She was performing in front of tons of people because she can talk very loudly. Actually, she can't really talk quietly either because she's a big person with all this extra oxygen stuck in her chest. When she lets it out into the air, you can see her lips move up and down, which is pretty cool unless you're at the movies where they are showing something important like Finding Nemo or The Incredibles . I had to stay with my grandparents while mom and dad were away. That was kind of cool, but they don't have cable so I couldn't watch Family Guy or live events on TV like The Price Is Right or even the Super Bowl which had some pretty amazing commercials this year as far as I can remember. Some people had big screen TVs, but we just had a regular one, and the picture wasn't very good. They probably didn't even know what they were looking at though—why would someone climb on top of a horse and then leap into the air and then jump back onto the horse again? Is this supposed to be funny? I love animals, but... Anyway, when we got up in the morning, I was starving, and there was nothing to eat because my grandparents don't really eat anything besides apples and bananas. All they have is a little Tupperware box where they keep their fruits. It's kind of creepy because it's labeled with their names in case someone takes their food by mistake. I think they have a problem. They should see a doctor or something because it's going to happen again. I called home to ask if my dad could bring some food for me since he was coming back early from Dayton anyways, but he said that mom needed him for something else.
